Description
On the 119-hectare property, there are roughly 3,000 animals, including 78 species of mammals (including 10 different carnivores and 17 primates), 50 types of reptiles, 111 types of birds, amphibians, and invertebrates. You can learn about Dubai Safari Park's comprehensive research, conservation, and wildlife protection activities while getting up close and personal with some of your favourite animals.
No one has ever done a better job of recreating an animal's native habitat in an urban setting than the staff at Dubai Safari Park. Previously, in May 2018, this popular venue closed its doors to the public for renovations. The redesigned facility has added several changes to enhance the experience for visitors.
This tour is for you if you want to go on an early morning desert expedition with camels and falcons. Head east towards the Arabian Desert, which boasts stunning vistas and rolling sand dunes, to get away from the metropolis. The 4x4 Jeep sets out on an adrenaline-pumping adventure through the countryside, passing across soft sand dunes. The pleasure continues at Arabian Desert Campsite, where you'll be greeted with 'Gahwa,' Arabic coffee, and local dates in a traditional manner. Take selfies with a fascinating Falcon and learn more about the UAE's national bird by interacting with the falconer. During your journey, enjoy sand boarding, camel rides, and 'Shisha,' the Arabic water pipe.
While the Dubai Safari Park has many places to explore along with a wide range of wildlife species, explore these main attractions of the safari park and spend a great time exploring the raw culture of the city like:
Safari Village: The traditional open safari, which transports guests to the dark jungles of Asia and Africa for a close encounter with exotic beasts, is the most exciting aspect of the Dubai Safari Park. While relaxing in the luxury of the specifically created vehicle, visitors may take in the sights of several animals such as zebra, baboons, deer, cheetahs, and water buffalos. And a trip to this man-made safari park isn't complete without catching a sight of the big lions and majestic tigers sunbathing. This man-made safari park also features a rippling waterfall, which is a one-of-a-kind solar-powered project designed to help the environment.
African Village: While in the UAE, go through the wonderfully decorated African Savannas and Rainforests. The African village, which houses African wild dogs, gigantic tortoises, chimps, and mighty white lions, is one of the most popular destinations to visit within the Dubai Safari Park.
Arabian Village: This region within the Dubai Safari Park offers a walk through the sand deserts, steep mountain terrains, and beautiful green meadows. A wonderful heaven for visitors who enjoy the deserts of Dubai. Many lovely creatures, such as Nilgais and Antelopes, can be found in this region, but they are usually kept in captivity. Aside from that, don't forget to keep an eye on the wolves who live here.
Asian Village: Because it is home to Asia's sole great ape, the Asian village in Dubai Safari Park will not disappoint. Aside from capturing the huge old man of the forest, visitors can leave their cars at this location and go for a walk through the dense forests, which are home to Gibbons, Moon bears, and giant Komodo dragons.
Wadi Village: This village is the ideal recreational area to spend time with family and friends after obtaining a sight of the abundant wildlife culture of African savannahs and Asian rainforests. This location, which is lushly green and elegantly designed, epitomises Dubai Municipality's initiative. This location, which is adorned with solar-powered water streams and fishing ponds, is a perfect spot to unwind after a long animal trip.
Kids Farm: The Dubai Safari Park includes a playground for children in addition to a wildlife safari and a recreational area. The children's farm is designed specifically for young visitors who may spend the day learning about farm animals such as chickens, goats, lambs, and cows. The kids can enjoy a day of fun while learning how to ride ponies and milk cows and connecting with nature.
